Working with a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional can provide those answers and peace of mind.

Your Financial Plan

  • The foundational starting point of every financial plan. We have to know where you’ve been and where you’re at today before we can figure out how you’re going to get where you want to be in the future.

  • What is it that you want to accomplish? Not just by hiring a financial accountability partner, but what drives you? We’ll work together to prioritize and quantify your goals.

  • A particular piece of your financial picture will always include your investments. Sometimes those are standard investment and retirement accounts built up of a portfolio allocated to your risk tolerance and capacity.

You may have, or desire, alternative investments such as private equity, real estate, or venture capital funding.

  • Review expected income flows each year and develop strategies for getting you the most bang for your buck.

  • Determining if you have adequate protection to achieve your goals if something happens to you is critical. And before something tragic does happen, we’ll discuss the legal tools to make the grieving process less painful for your beneficiaries and loved ones.

  • From Social Security and pension programs, you could have a lot to plan for in the future. As you close in on your retirement, we’ll refine your available benefits and define an income strategy that helps you achieve your lifestyle goals.

  • Stock Options, NSO, ISO, RSU…If you receive some form of company equity as part of your benefits package, we’ll look at the various tax impacts of exercising those and how they fit into your plan.

Developing a financial plan

A critical phase of your financial planning journey. This is a multi-meeting process where we will consolidate your financial situation into a single, cohesive, picture.

This phase can be completed in either a standard, 6-month, or accelerated, one-month, timeframe.

Refining your course of action

Prioritizing your goals and creating a game plan. We will determine details like future dates and amounts needed to be saved along the way in order to meet them.

Once we’ve built your plan, it’ll be time to take action on recommendations to bring you closer to achieving your goals.

Maintaining your plan

This perpetual stage is commonly called “implementation and monitoring.” As your fiduciary, we’ll continue to keep an eye on your plan and develop a rhythm for meeting and reviewing your tasks multiple times per year.
